Telangiectasias are small superficial dilated blood vessels , visible on the surface of the skin or mucosae, measuring between 0.5 and 1 millimeter in diameter. They can develop anywhere on the body but are commonly seen on the face, around the nose, cheeks, and chin. They can also develop on the legs, specifically on the upper thigh, below the knee joint, and around the ankles. Because telangiectasias are vascular lesions, they blanch when tested with diascopy.

They appear as a result of intempestive and agressive cosmetic treatments or part of clinical manifestations of dermatological conditions such as rosacea, actinical damage, etc.
The most indicated terapeuthical approach is the vascular laser Nd Yag 1064nm, with excellent and long lasting results.

Our clinic is equiped with the newest and most performant laser CUTERA Nd Yag 1064nm. Before laser treatment you need a clinical examination for complete evaluation of vascular lessions and will be well informed about the meassures that have to be taken before and after the treatment.
